The STORM 700x Cine Kit is a point-source fixture kit designed for professional cinematographers, gaffers, studios, and rental houses as a standard way to deploy the STORM 700x. This kit is based on the STORM 700x, a 700W tunable-white point source fixture featuring Aputure’s groundbreaking BLAIR LED chipset and robust ProLock mount. With all the components of the STORM 700x Cine Kit built together, the result is a fully integrated fixture unit that is easy to handle, quick to deploy, and efficient to store and transport.

This Cine Kit includes the CF10 Fresnel, a 10-inch diameter compact Bowens mount fresnel engineered specifically for the STORM 700x’s light engine. With a spot-flood range of 15º–40º, the CF10 amplifies the fixture’s output while maintaining a smooth falloff from center to edge, offering precise control over beam spread in a lightweight, compact form factor. The CF10 Fresnel comes paired with its dedicated CF10 Barn Doors, allowing users to shape, cut, and control the beam with accuracy. Together, the CF10 Fresnel and Barn Doors unlock the full potential of the STORM 700x, making it a versatile and powerful lighting tool straight out of the box.

In addition to the CF10 Fresnel and Barn Doors, the STORM 700x Cine Kit also includes the STORM 700x Skid, a stainless-steel support accessory that secures to the base of the fixture. The skid enables operators to safely place the unit flat on the ground without risk of tipping, even with the CF10 Fresnel mounted to the front. Its rear cutout provides clearance for the fixture’s head cable when tilting, ensuring safe and practical operation. With the Skid mounted, the complete fixture system including the STORM 700x, CF10 Fresnel, and CF10 Barn Doors can sit securely on a head cart, equipment rack, storage shelf, or even the ground, streamlining transport and setup on set.
