The AVMatrix SC7030 - Multi-Signal to SDI / HDMI Cross Converter is a "Swiss Army Knife" for on-the-fly video format conversion. It supports a plethotra of input types - SDI/HDMI/DVI-I/VGA/CVBS/S-video/YPbPr
- you supply the input video to the device, then you set the conversion rate / resolution / frequency via either as et of DIP switches or through the associated software, and it will convert for you - upscaling or downscaling as you require
Further, it has the benefit of analog audio de-embedding, meaning that you can bring out the specific audio and use it in any other application (extracting podcast audio from a live feed, for example).
