The MON 8 A G3 is part of an entirely newly developed family of powered stage monitors for high performance. The MON G3 Series incorporates the advanced technology and premium materials found in high-end monitors typically rented by professionals, making this quality available to everyone. These include, for example, advanced coaxial loudspeakers with integrated 50° x 90° CD horn, which ensure the acoustic ideal of a true point source and thus outstanding audio characteristics even at short listening distances. Besides this, the series offers a high-level of robustness, a comprehensive set of features and the elegant LD Systems design.

As the smallest member of the new stage monitor family, the MON 8 A G3 is particularly inconspicuous and flexible in use: as a stage monitor, in a DJ setup or on a speaker stand as a FOH speaker, as a satellite in 2.1 systems or as a delay line speaker. At the same time, the MON 8 A G3 offers a frequency response of up to 59 Hz, which is unusually low for its size, and thus full-range sound.

Both the signal (XLR/jack combo) and the power connection (PowerCON compatible) can be looped through. This allows for elegant, tidy cabling in multi-monitor set-ups or for distributed sound reinforcement.​

POWERFUL DIGITAL CONTROLLER

• DYNX DSP (GEN. 2) - The latest generation of LD Systems’ proprietary DynX DSP guarantees a dynamic, high-resolution sound image across the entire frequency response.
• 4 SOUND PRESETS & 3-BAND EQ - The four intuitively operated sound presets and the 3-band EQ enable quick, user-friendly sound adjustment
• TUNABLE NOTCH FILTER - With the tunable notch filter, feedback frequencies can be quickly eliminated.
• DELAY LINE FUNCTION - The delay line function allows you to compensate for distances of up to 10 m / 33 ft. This is very useful when operating multiple loudspeakers in FOH mode, for example at a town festival.
• HIGH-EFFICIENCY POWER AMPLIFIER - The highly efficient Class D power amp delivers 300 watts RMS. The peak power of 1200 watts, which can be called up at short notice, guarantees a dynamic, assertive sound image.
• PROFESSIONAL CONNECTORS - Our engineering team put great care in creating an intuitive user-panel with just the controls and inputs you really need.

• HEAVY-DUTY BIRCH PLYWOOD - The enclosures are made of heavy-duty 15 mm birch plywood and coated with particularly resistant polyurea. Thus, they reliably withstand many years of hard use "on the road“.
• STEEL FRONT GRILLE - The extra-strong, torsion-resistant steel grilles effectively protect the speakers.
• TWO DIE-CAST ALUMINIUM HANDLES - The two cast aluminum handles, homogeneously integrated into the overall appearance, enable the best possible handling on stage.
