Comments:
Purchased this device as it was much more cost effective than many of the alternatives and it works well for the price. I've had it get temperamental with me from time to time where I need to change USB ports several times before it will start responding to DMX inputs, but once it's going it works well. Because you're only paying for the device, you don't get any dedicated software, and you'll have to use 3rd party DMX controller software. There are some good ones out there but nothing as powerful as Lightjockey or Elation. I'm only running about 50 channels, seems to run smooth and quick but I do get some occasional lag with more complex shows. Not sure if it is the software or hardware, but I'm not sure how well it would perform if you were running 200+ channels.
