About: Barnfind BarnPalette MADI-8xMic.Line
BarnPalette-MADI offers a high-quality and robust solution for transporting analog audio over either fiber or copper. Compatible with BarnColor system or as a standalone product, each unit features 8x audio inputs and 8x audio outputs, and multiple BarnPalette-MADI units can be inter-connected. Audio signals can be flexibly mixed and routed into a 64-channel MADI signal. MADI can be sent and received both via BNC ports and SFP port (fiber).
The BarnPalette-MADI is available in three variants:
- 8xLine I/O module: Provides 8x analog audio input and output channels, interfaced via 2x DSUB-25 connectors
- 8xMic.Line I/O module: Provides 8x analog audio input and output channels and microphone level (with phantom power), interfaced via 2x DSUB-25 connectors
- 4xAES I/O module: Provides 4x AES3 ports connect 8 audio channels of digital input and output signals via a DSUB-25 connector
We recommend using single mode fibers when linking the BarnColor and BarnPalette devices.
