The FX-125.2 Compact Class D Power Amplifier is a 2-channel configuration of Class D design housed in a 1/2 RU metal chassis with a metal front. The front panel is equipped with multi-color LED indicators for Status, Input, Output, Network & WiFi.

The amplifier's rear panel is equipped with 4 x mono Unbalanced phono connectors as well as 4 x 3.5mm removeable Balanced Euroblock connectors for each input. There is also a removeable 8-pin 3.5mm Euroblock connector for GND(T), Standby/Mute polarity, GND(V) VC1, VC2, VC3/TIn, VC4/TO & 3.3V, all assignable in software. The two speaker outputs are on a 4-pole 4.6mm removeable Euroblock, with either the LowZ or HiZ terminals used (depending on the selected power mode). There is a 2-channel SPDIF stereo digital Input & Output, both on RCA phono connectors, used for digitally bridging two FX amps. There is also an RJ45 Ethernet adapter for network connectivity, and WiFi function is also available. The rear and side panels are perforated and a single variable-speed fan are mounted internally for side-to-rear airflow to enable proper cooling. There is an IEC power connection and the unit is supplied with the region-appropriate power cable.

The amplifier has a built-in 4-channel DSP that is accessed via a browser-enabled device via Ethernet or WiFi. The DSP is a 4 In x 2 Out configuration for this model. All unit settings may be accessed and edited via this GUI interface. The adjustable parameters include gain, metering, input source select for each input (Mic/Line/Generator). Zones with Input channel select, Compression, VC volume & GPI assignments per zone. Output settings include: Routing, 10-band parametric EQ, Delay & Speaker Pre-sets (including: Crossover/Gain, Speaker EQ, FIR Filters, Driver Alignment Delay, Polarity, Limiter & Amp Outputs Mode) per output. General Settings include: System & Device info, Backup & Restore, Power Management (Standby & Sleep/wake functions may be set to manual/remote or automatic), GPIO assignments, LAN & WiFi.

The amplifier has 2 amp channels each capable of driving up to 125W @ 4 or 8 Ohms per channel and may be switched to operate at 70V or 100V with 250W by bridging pairs. The two channels are capable of power-sharing, driving up to 250W total across two channels or with a single channel driven. The amplifier has a universal power supply capable of operating from 100-240VAC 50/60Hz and has a power consumption @ 1/8 continuous rated output of 75W @ 4 Ohms.

High-Density DSP Power Amplifiers

To control FX’s powerful DSP, you’ll find easy access to its intuitive and user-friendly interface via a simple web browser (similar to AquaControl). No software to install (it’s built into the FX unit). Just connect using the Ethernet port or built-in WiFi and you’re ready to Rock & Roll. The WiFi connection allows secure ID and password protection from unauthorized use and for more advanced users, Ethernet allows custom IP settings for use on a more complex wired LAN.

Intelligent DSP

The FX Series features a powerful DSP engine that can configure to suit virtually any task, without the need for additional equipment. From processing input sources, routing and output DSP that can fine tune the sound of any speaker. Everything you need is right there. These will mix into Zones A-D and then into Outputs (2 or 4 depending on the number of amplifier channels). All models have a 4-channel DSP configuration with Input processing, Zone Processing, Output Processing, Speaker Processing and Device Settings.
