Comments:
I received this model one month ago, it works very well but... It undergone a check for electrical compliance here in Canada, a check done by QPS Evalution Services company any and to do so, they ripped off a corner of the plastic wrapping bag of the tuner with the result that it did not seemed brand new. Also, the finish quality is not perfect ( little real horizontal scratch on the front plate though the paint did not come off, making it acceptable but disappointing ). More, the textured finish of the paint is very hard to clean and any touch of a cloth gives it the appearance of being scratched. A tip here, use a wet black cloth and another dry black one to clean it; it works well.I know that anyway in a studio rack this will not be much of a problem and I will keep it but if Rolls does not improve both their products and the way they are shipped, I will think it twice before buying again from them.
Another little point but to be mentioned, the power consumption is high: 45 watts. This is of course not so important for people in pro audio business but Rolls could have done better on this.
Those points behind, the sound quality is astonishingly good, even better than the Yamaha one I have in my Hi-Fi system! very high audio definition, clean reception and for that reason, I will yes recommend this tuner to other potential buyers.
