The MD 9235 is a cardioid dynamic microphone capsule with excellent vocal capture and crosstalk rejection. Designed for the most challenging stage environments, the MD 9235’s lightweight aluminum-copper microphone coil can move faster than conventional coils, delivering incredible detail and transparency. The MD 9235 was meticulously crafted to accurately reproduce a vocal while rejecting ambient noise across all angles, making it the perfect choice for applications where the talent (source) moves between ever-changing dynamic performance locations, often in front of a PA.

The MD 9235 was replaced by the MD 435 capsule several years ago. While the MD 435 established a strong fan base of its own, several touring professionals still love their MD 9235 capsules and have repeatedly expressed interest in acquiring more. To honor our customers’ feedback, Sennheiser is pleased to announce a fresh production run for this renowned capsule to serve this demand.
