Roscoflamex MC effectively treats virtually any substrate, including raw wood, natural and synthetic fabrics, paper, and many more materials. Premixed for easy use straight out of the bottle, Roscoflamex MC is perfect for scenic elements, set pieces, costumes, and props.
Roscoflamex fire retardants have been formulated to meet the extreme needs of the entertainment industry and are designed to treat the wide range of diverse materials used in scenery, props, and costume construction. Roscoflamex products meet fire retardant standards as established by NFPA, ASTM, and have been approved by the CA Fire Marshall and New York City Fire Dept.

- Description: Roscoflamex MC is a proprietary, non-durable flame retardant.
- Appearance: Clear liquid that dries clear.
- Use: Multiple substrates including raw wood, natural and synthetic fabrics, paper, and many more.
- Finish: Leaves no residue and will not affect the hand of fabric.
- Application: Spray, brush or dip. Perform tests to determine the appropriate soaking time to achieve an effective treatment. Properly treated material will have increased in weight by 8-15% when dry.
- Mix Ratio: Roscoflamex MC is designed to be used straight out of the bottle.
- Hazard: May cause skin irritation. Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Coverage: Estimated 400 square feet per gallon.
- Drying: Allow to dry naturally or using forced hot air.
