The RMXa Series amplifiers offer true professional-quality performance at an affordable price. With 1400 W/CH into 4 ohms and 2000 W/CH into 2 ohms all in a chassis that is less than 16" deep the RMX4050a is perfectly suited for performing musicians and mobile entertainers.

Pros:
-Good sound with clean power at high volumes.
-Very well built
-The notched gain controls QSC added to this newer RMXA series.
-Quiet fan, unit runs cool.
-Powerful
-The weight, you can tell just by picking it up, that it is a honest, powerful amp.

Cons:
None that I can think of...Although, it would be nice if it came with some handles on the front. QSC used to sell a handle kit for RMX amps I Believe. Cannot find it anymore.
Comments:
Simply the best sounding, most well built amplifier I've come across. Made by the only brand that makes amplifiers worth powering speakers with. It Runs my Cerwin Vega! XLS-215s in a serious home soundsystem with some power to spare and everything sounds great. I decided to buy it after using an RMX-1450 for 6 years every single day and it has proven itself by working flawlessly.. The RMX series is made to last. And QSCs new RMXA series seems to be just as well built, if not more.
