Mix anywhere.

Designed to fit within a rugged and robust Pelican Air 1637 case, the console, when packed, weighs only 23 kilograms – a perfect 50 pounds – qualifying it as a standard checked bag option on most flights. But despite its ultra-compact form factor, the Quantum112 is still a giant on features and functionality, every bit a Quantum in terms of its pedigree.

Based on the newest seventh-generation FPGAs, DiGiCo’s latest product offers 80 input channels with 24 aux/subgroup busses, LR/LCR master busses, and a 12x8 matrix, all with full channel processing. 12 control groups plus two solos are also available.

Sporting a 17-inch, 1000-nit, high-brightness multitouch screen with both a meterbridge and soft quick select buttons for speedy and intuitive operation, the Quantum112 is additionally equipped with 18 individual TFT channel displays to provide clear user feedback and interaction. Beneath the main display are a dozen newly-sourced 100mm touch-sensitive faders, selected for their smooth movement and precision control.

The DiGiCo Quantum112 naturally incorporates now-familiar Quantum Range features like Mustard Processing channel strips (20), Spice Rack plugin-style native FPGA processing options (6), and Nodal Processing (24). 12 graphic EQs are further available, as are eight FX Rack slots.

I/O

The rear panel has built-in 64x64 Primary and Secondary Dante Ports on Ethercon connectors. 16 Mic/Line inputs and 8 line outputs, both of which utilise ‘Stadius’ 32-bit pre-amps and DACs. It also has 1 AES/EBU input (2 channels) and 1AES/EBU outputs (2 channels), 4 sets of MADI I/O, giving up to 4 MADI interfaces or up to 2 redundant MADI interfaces at 48kHz or 2 interfaces at 96kHz, 2 DMI slots and inbuilt UB MADI (USB Type B audio I/O interface for recording and playback of up to 32 channels).

Quantum MADI Rack

The MQ-Rack provides all of the power of our larger racks, but in a more compact unit.

  • 48 Mic Inputs
  • Up to 24 Line Outputs
  • 4 Switchable AES Outputs
  • BNC MADI Connectivity
  • Rack sharing or digital splits at 48kHz
  • 6U Rack Mountable
  • Gain Tracking
  • Redundant PSUs
  • Flashing screen to indicate system OK from a distance
  • Locked controls to prevent accidental setting changes
  • Internal Oscillator

The compact 6U rack sports 48 mic inputs and up to 24 line outputs. Clever audio design allows the last 4 outputs to be switched between line outputs and stereo AES/EBU outputs, adding up to a maximum of 8 AES/EBU output channels.

Dual MADI ports, available on BNC connections, either allow rack sharing at 48kHz between any two SD Range or Quantum consoles or provide digital splits for recording. When combined, these ports create a single high definition 96kHz MADI connection with absolutely no reduction in I/O.

To ensure ultimate reliability the MQ-Rack is equipped with dual redundant power supplies as standard.
