The HSP Essential Omni’s fixed, 1.3m cable is available with either 3.5mm jack or 3-pin connector, to interface to the complete portfolio of Sennheiser wireless solutions.

Comments:

When I received this product, I was impressed with the sound quality it produced. However, after three uses, we began to hear a constant popping noise from the cable connection to the headset. The product was replaced under warranty, and after waiting months for the new headset to arrive, the replacement exhibited the same problem. Months later, our third headset arrived, and while we no longer experience the popping sound, the sound quality is quite noisy. With the first two headsets, I kept the gain on my pack and receiver at 0 dB and had plenty of audio. With this new headset, however, I had to turn it up significantly to hear anything, and the audio quality is poor. At this point, it seems more worthwhile to consider a different microphone rather than wait months for yet another replacement.

Also, the way the microphone and headset clip together is not very sturdy. It always comes apart when transitioning to a new speaker. We have taped it together now, but that shouldn't be necessary for a $400 headset. While I am usually a fan of Sennheiser products, I would advise skipping this one.
