Realtime Routing, Mixing and EQ

Each input signal of the sound system can be level-adjusted individually and routed to any output with zero latency. The BEAST DSP Mixer can also sum up to 64 signals into eight independent buses and distribute them to any number of outputs without delay. In addition, playback signals from any DAW can be integrated directly into the mixer. All mix buses can be routed back into recording applications, enabling flexible monitoring and recording workflows. For tonal shaping, every channel in the BEAST Mixer features four fully parametric EQ bands.

Precision Clock

The internal clocking of the Clara sound system delivers exceptionally low jitter of less than one nanosecond. As a result, it often provides a significantly more accurate clock source than many connected studio devices, allowing it to reliably synchronize external hardware without the need for costly standalone master clocks.

Switchable Samplerate Converter (SRC)

The software-switchable sample rate converters (SRCs) allow any digital input signal to be fed into the sound system independently of its sample rate or clock configuration. This enables seamless connection of digital devices without the need for dedicated synchronization lines.

Expansion options

If multiple Clara units are installed in a single computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear to ASIO applications as one unified audio system. Within the Beast Mixer, up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged directly between the connected Clara systems.

Sound system with a + 

With the optional MWX expansion module (sold separately) users can add a word clock input/output as well as two MIDI inputs and outputs to the sound system. The expansion board connects to the audio interface via a ribbon cable and can be flexibly installed in any free slot of the computer chassis.

Fast and Reliable Multi-Client Treiber Suite

The continuously enhanced driver provides multi-client support for ASIO 2.2 as well as multichannel WDM audio and WASAPI, delivering ultra-low latency across all software environments. This enables multiple audio applications to access the sound system simultaneously, either through the same or through different driver interfaces.
