About: Penn-Elcom FT01-Q 1U Rack Fan Unit
The NEW version of the 1U/6U blower unit for use in 19" equipment racks now comes with low noise fans to reduce noise levels from the rack. The quiet fans make it ideal for applications is studios, churches and residential properties.
The fan tray can be used as 1U horizontal tray or it can be used vertically as a 6U Blower postioned at the top of the rack to effectively extract hot air from around the equipment.
This fan unit comes with the option of a thermostat which enables the rack to turn on when it reaches 40 degress and then turn off when it falls below 40 degrees.
