Core SWX CXV-TS-VRAP Overview:

The Gold mount Sharkfin Battery Plate from Core SWX enables you to continuously power the RED V-RAPTOR or KOMODO-X cinema camera using two V mount batteries. The sharkfin design mounts two batteries side by side, enabling you to remove a depleted battery while leaving the remaining battery connected, resulting in no camera downtime. This plate incorporates two D-Tap output ports for powering accessories.
The batteries can power the camera by discharging at the same time, or you can choose to discharge them one at a time and use the hot swap function. Since the ports on the camera are on the back, to prevent blocking them, the plate can slide away from the back of the camera to make room for your cables to plug in. Each D-Tap and power output to the camera is unregulated 11 to 17 VDC.

Compatibility

• The adapter is compatible with the RED V-RAPTOR and KOMODO-X cinema cameras.

Hot Swappable

• The camera remains running when swapping out a depleted battery and a second battery is mounted

Parallel Discharge

• You can choose to discharge both batteries at the same time or utilize one at a time and hot swap.
• The right-side plate slides out to allow the camera ports to be accessible.

D-Tap Outputs

• Use the integrated D-Tap outputs to power additional accessories.

Sliding Design

• The system allows you to slide out the right side of the mounting plate to accommodate any size Gold mount battery so it doesn't block the inputs and outputs of the camera. It locks in place with a set screw.
