<p>I used it in both positions vertical and horizontal, I liked the horizontal position better myself. It puts out a good amount of haze and I did not set off any smoke alarms. It's water based fluid is nice because you don't feel like your getting choked out. Love this product, good job Antari! Thanks for having it AVShop.ca!</p>
