Sennheiser XSW IEM In-Ear Monitor Set

Deployed this unit as a remote solo monitor connected to headphone output of Midas MR18 (via Radial StageBug). The MR18 sits on stage with the band and I roam about the crowd with tablet and headphones. The XSW IEM delivered clear sound of every channel and bus I solo'd. As well, the system worked perfectly with 200 bandwidth sucking ramora smartphones between me and the stage - no interference or lost signal at all. Ya, ya, ya I know all the stuff about different frequencies, but really, how many times have I setup a wireless system and had textbook performance during sound check or rehearsal, only to have dropped signals and Sputnik beeping and voices during the show. No problems at all with this system during a 3h show with lots of spurious radio noise in the room. For a one-off, or small operator this is a fantastic wireless IEM system....
