Highly advantageous for boom operators, sound designers, and location recordists, the Nano Shield NS5-DC is a complete windshield and suspension setup with indoor and outdoor wind protection, a low-profile XLR cable with a built-in RF filter and a switchable low-cut filter, and more. Not only does the NS5-DC model fit shotgun-style microphones up to 11.2" long, but its mix-and-match basket design allows it to accommodate many other mic sizes by swapping optional basket halves.
