The KIP -The K-Tek Interview Pole is a specialized, new Boompole that doubles as an Extended Handgrip ideal for ENG, Newsand interview situations. This allows for the journalists to keep a safe distance from the interviewee and stay out of frame when needed.
KIP is made of our lightweight Graphite Carbon Fiber with a reach of 6′ (1.84m), collapses down to 38.5′′ (97.79cm) and weighs only 0.65lbs. (285gr), while maintaining great rigidity.
This 2-section interview pole extends with a quick-release and quick-lock in a second to fully length and retract just as fast.
The K-Tek Interview Pole comes standard with a 3/8′′ threaded stud for shockmounts and ships with a 5/8′′ adapter for Handheld Mic Clamps.
