Aputure F10 Fresnel + Barn Door

The F10 Barn Doors is a light shaping accessory for use with larger Bowens-Mount lights and Fresnel modifiers. The F10 Barn Doors are directly compatible with Aputure's 10" Glass Fresnel Lens Modifier, the F10 Fresnel, as well as the included black reflector dish, or Negative Reflector.

The F10 Barn Doors utilizes a large 8-leaf design to properly cut the light from the large aperture of the F10 Fresnel's 10-inch front element. The black reflector dish that comes with the F10 Barn Doors is ideal for users who desire precise, clean light shaping from their barn doors. By minimizing the light source's size and eliminating any material that would increase the aperture of the LED, this black reflector helps the F10 Barn Doors create even sharper shadows.

Rather than the wire-clamp mechanism used by smaller barn doors typically made for LEDs, the F10 Barndoors features a heavy-duty drop-in latching mechanism, durable enough for even the most rigorous of film sets. The F10 Barn Doors also feature a safety cable and mounting point pre-mounted onto the barn doors to ensure maximum security.

The Aputure F10 Fresnel is the first Bowens Mount Fresnel on the market made to match the size of traditional 10-inch Fresnel lights like a tungsten 5K, with a 250mm diameter lens made of real glass. This Fresnel size allows filmmakers to produce punchy hard-light that maintains a subtle, soft quality that is perfect for dramatic expression.

As an Aputure Fresnel, this modifier also uses a dual-lens optical design, utilizing a condenser lens to refocus the light from a flat-chip COB LED to optimize it for the front Fresnel element, further enhancing the fixture’s illuminance. When combined with the Aputure LS 600d Pro, the fixture can output over 29,300 lux at 3 meters.

To ergonomically and precisely adjust its variable 15°-45° beam angle, the F10 Fresnel uses Aputure’s helicoid focus design from the Fresnel 2X. The F10 also incorporates a ventilation design that prevents the COB from overheating while minimizing any light leaks

The drop-in accessory slot is compatible with Aputure’s F10 Barn Doors, which provide eight leaves made to cut light from the large Fresnel properly.
