The DMW-BG2 battery grip is designed to extend shooting time and enhance the shooting experience with LUMIX cameras. Compatible with LUMIX S1RII (DC-S1RM2), it holds two batteries—one in the camera and one in the grip*—effectively doubling battery life for longer sessions. Key features include hot swap capability, allowing you to replace the battery without turning off the camera, and simultaneous power supply, where both LUMIX S1RII and DMW-BG2 batteries work together in power-intensive recording modes. Its ergonomic design ensures a seamless grip and easy control for both horizontal and vertical shooting, with a shutter button, dial, 8-way joystick, and more for intuitive operation.
