About: Avid Artist | DNxIQ Video Interface

Avid Artist | DNxIQ offers the most extensive array of analog and digital connections to support the widest range of cameras, drives, monitors, speakers, routers, switchers, and other devices. From 12G/6G/3G-SDI, Optical, HDMI 2, and AES/EBU connectors, to XLR, LTC, RS-422, composite, component, and a headphone jack, Avid Artist | DNxIQ provides all the ins and outs you need to connect your studio.

Work faster and easier

Avid Artist | DNxIQ offers a built-in hardware encoder to capture to Avid DNxHR, enabling you to edit 4K files easily and speed up your workflow. It also enables you to see exactly what media is being ingested or sent out of production through the built-in front-panel HD LCD. Change your source or time code input with the press of a button. And get reliable operation—and peace of mind—with redundant power supplies.

Get Universal Mastering

To speed and ease playback and tape workflows, Avid Artist | DNxIQ offers accelerated Universal Mastering, enabling you to deliver broadcast/final masters in virtually any format, for any market. The interface offers real-time format and frame-rate conversion on all baseband SDI, HDMI, and analog output connections, making it the ideal—and most efficient—finishing companion for Media Composer with the Symphony Option.

Edit and mix audio to picture

Avid Artist | DNxIQ can also be used with Pro Tools and Pro Tools | Ultimate to support high-quality video playback to a monitor. This makes the interface a versatile solution for mixing audio and composing music to picture, as well as for editing dialog, ADR, and Foley—with better than 1/4-frame sync accuracy.
