Excellent near-field monitors for such a low price. I have them at ear-level hooked into a tiny (NUC) PC, listening at low background volume levels to allow conversation while playing. Even at low levels you can still hear a solid bottom end on jazz and classical music. Couldn't be happier. I have about $800 of sound equipment on another computer (older stuff, but even so, good stuff), and these little guys are amazing in comparison. I've tried many brands of small computer monitors in years past (some even close to this price range) that did not sound anywhere near as nice. I'm really impressed at the sound quality for the size and price. I would buy these again for a similar application....
