Pelican 1557 Air Overview:
Built for strength and portability, the black Pelican 1557AirNF Hard Carry Case is designed to be dustproof, fully watertight, and crushproof to protect your valuable gear against the harshest handling, shipping, and environmental conditions on the planet. This edition of the 1557 Air comes lined, but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the 17.3 x 13 x 9.8" interior to your specific needs and to your specific gear.
Your case is made from a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, so it's up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers It has newly designed dual push-button latches that provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. A polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.

Injection Molded Cases: Pelican guarantees its injection molded products for a lifetime against breakage or defects in workmanship. Pelican™ injection molded cases are guaranteed to be watertight to a depth of 3.3 feet (1 meter) for 30 minutes (IP 67) if properly closed with undamaged o-ring in place unless otherwise stated.
Roto Molded Cases: Pelican guarantees its rotationally molded products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of invoice.
Backpacks: Pelican guarantees to the original purchaser that the fabric backpack will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
Flashlights: Pelican guarantees its flashlights and headlamps for a lifetime against breakage or defects in workmanship. This guarantee does not cover the lamp or batteries.
Manufacturer's Warranty will cover parts, labour and return shipping back to you once repaired. Shipping into the service centre is not covered
